This standard describes the minimum procedures to be employed in the installation of prefinished metal (aluminum or steel) siding, soffits and fascia and related components for exterior cladding of housing and small buildings.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
