Full Description

This standard applies to inorganic zinc coating for use on steel superstructures, decks and hulls of vessels, bridges, towers, offshore drilling rigs, tank linings and reconditioned equipment that may be exposed to aggressive environments, marine atmospheres and to intermittent immersion (subject to the manufacturer's instructions, this coating may be used for total immersion conditions in sea water.) in fresh or salt water.

The coating is suitable for use in areas where recoating is difficult, expensive, abnormally time consuming or where the life of conventional coatings has been found to be too short.
