ANSI/SCTE 23-3 2010

This Standard defines the Network Management requirements for support a DOCS (Data-Over-CableSystem) 1.1 environment. More specifically, the specification details the SNMP v3 protocol and how itcoexists with SNMP V1/V2. The RFCs and Management Information Base (MIB) requirements aredetailed as well as interface numbering, filtering, event notifications, etc. Basic network managementprincipals such as account, configuration, fault, and performance management are incorporated in thisspecification for better understanding of managing a high-speed cable modem environment.
