ANSI/BHMA A156.22-2012

1.1 This Standard establishes requirements for the performance and installation of gasketing systemsincluding intumescents applied to, or mortised to doors, frames or both. Included are performance testsintended to provide installation guidelines, resistance to smoke and air infiltration, and measure the lifeand durability of gasketing materials.

1.2 Requirements apply to factory or field installed materials.

1.3 Tests described in this Standard are performed under laboratory conditions. In actual usage,results vary because of installation, maintenance and environmental conditions.
