MSS SP-132-2010

This Standard Practice provides requirementsfor valve packings, packing chambers, andassociated components as they relate to the totalpacking assembly of instrumentation valves.

This Standard Practice is intended to apply tovalves used in instrument piping systems. (See MSSSP-99, Instrument Valves, and MSS SP-105,Instrument Valves for Code Applications).

This Standard Practice applies to valves inwhich a compression packing assembly is used asthe primary stem sealing system.
