This powerpoint presentation begins by presenting the problem description that included: issues with accumulated particulate matter(e.g. discolored water);minimizing amount of particulate matter in distributionsystems (DS) (e.g. flushing);determining which pipes were affected by deposits; and,modeling of particle motion behavior andprediction of deposits/water quality in DS.
