Presents the Four-casting model for improved predictability, which supports the implementation of the practices for early and accurate predictability found by the research team. Presents the four categories of these practices: 1) project characteristics; 2) forecasting practices; 3) management processes; and 4) human behavior and organizational culture. Highlights how the practices in the first three categories are all influenced and sustained by the practices in the fourth category, human behavior and organizational culture. Also illustrates the importance of the continuous assessment component for their evaluation and improvement. Show how the four main categories are divided into twelve subcategories, all of which contain the 43 distinct practices that the team found to have a marked influence on predictability. Introduces the Four-casting Assessment tool, a Microsoft Excel-based software application that accompanies the resource.
