This paper explores the concept of generating results through infrastructuremanagement software. Too many times asset management software is simply viewed asa data repository for storing information gathered through different processes.This paper looks at software as an investment that is expected to gain at least aminimum return on that investment. To understand the results that are expected fromasset management software, we must first understand the concept and our ownneeds. Includes figures.
