1.1 This guide covers the material and installation standards for selection in the design of an ornamental steel picket fence system for security applications. The proper material selection and system installation and layout can substantially increase the difficulty to penetrate; thereby, increasing the intrusion delay time. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
