This procurement specification covers aircraft quality solid rivets made from a corrosion and heat resistant cobalt alloy of the type identified under the Unified Numbering System as UNS R30605. Primarily for joining parts where a high shear strength is required up to 1500 degrees F and oxidation resistance up to 2000 degrees F.
