The system is called OP/NET, and is currently in operation at the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) in Oakland, California. The paper describes the features of this system, what it produces, and which research is needed to further enhance operations. In addition, it discusses how other computer systems within EBMUD are integrated with the OP/NET system and with each other.
