The research described in this paper attempts to answer the following questions: 1) What is the effect of ozone dose on DBP formation? 2) Can the effectiveness of ozonation in removing DBPs be enhanced by biodegradation? 3) How do the characteristics of the raw water affect the formation of DBPs and their removal?
