This Standard Practice delineates a method forqualification of elastomer diaphragms, inaccordance with methodology and documentationas described in Appendix QR-B of ASME QME-1, that are intended for use in ASME Boiler andPressure Vessel Code, Section III, Classes 2 and 3diaphragm valves. In addition, this StandardPractice establishes methods for productionverification and for the development of servicelimits for Elastomer diaphragms.
